Sherbrooke is the commercial center of the Townships, with a pleasant central core lying between two rivers. Downtown is a good place to wander, with 11 large outdoor wall murals (pick up a map at the tourist office). Other highlights include the city’s small but well-conceived Musée des Beaux-Arts , with works by Québecois and Canadian artists, and the 18km Réseau Riverain walking and cycling path along the Magog River, which starts at Blanchard Park, west of downtown.
