Those with an interest in the military will enjoy the Military Museums (essentially one museum), providing a very thorough overview of Calgary's military background – air force, army and navy – and its role in Canadian conflicts over the years, from British colonial escapades in the 1880s to Afghanistan. Follow Crowchild Trail to Flanders Ave about 3km south of Downtown.
