This shady little lane is a classic story of Plateau renovation. Until the early 1990s this was one of the Plateau’s poorer streets, where residents painted murals on the facades to disguise the deterioration. The murals have long since gone and in their place have emerged colorful homes with trim little gardens and potted plants hanging under the windows.
