In northern Kootenay, several kilometers southwest of the Stanley Glacier trailhead, the popular trail around Marble Canyon has been reincarnated since the 2003 fire. The easy 1.6km (1-mile) loop crosses Tokumm Creek and offers great views down into the plunging limestone canyon, sculpted and shaped by the surging force of the river.
