I don't always spend time in North Vancouver when I go home for a visit, but there are some serious gems on the north shore of Vancouver. One of these gems is Quarry Rock in Deep Cove.
Deep Cove faces the Burrard Inlet and is the easternmost part of North Vancouver. In order to get up to Quarry Rock, you must hike. It's not a difficult one but takes you through the forest and past some creeks. Once you get to the top, it's easy to just sit and watch the boats and enjoy the stunning scenery.
