Capilano Suspension Bridge Park gets festive during the holiday season and puts on a lovely display of lights throughout the park called Canyon Lights. An annual event, I was able to go with my family on Christmas Eve (2014). We walked through the park under the lovely lights, drank warm tasty beverages, crossed over the suspension bridge, and walked through the canopy of ancient trees. The park is a lovely place to experience the Northwest at its best but comes even more alive during the winter evenings. Check the website for dates, Canyon Lights usually runs from late November to the beginning of January.
