Okay, so I'm a bit biased with regards to Pazzo Chow, a cute little gourmet shop and cafe in Vancouver's Chinatown. It is the brainchild of my friend Maya Sciarreta. For the past few years, Maya has been selling her own brand of pasta sauce called Sugo Sauce at farmers markets, pop ups, and better retailers across Canada.. This just seemed like a natural extension.
When I visited, I picked up some anchovy stuffed olives and other Italian food offerings. She also makes prepared food such as paninis, salads, and pastas which are all fantastic. As a snack, I tried a Nutella topped slice of just baked focaccia. Mama mia! Molto deliciozo! Who knew the combination of sweet and savory with a hint of rosemary would be so divine.
