At this excellent, wheelchair-accessible botanical garden, run by the non-profit National Biodiversity Institute (INBio), visitors can admire native plants and animals in miniature versions of the country's various life zones. Other attractions include farm animals, a butterfly garden, a serpentarium and a model sustainable home. Children’s theater and multimedia shows run throughout the day.
