This ageing beauty still hosts major productions in the capital. Located east from Catedral Metropolitana, the theater was renovated in French Classical style in the mid-20th century. Opening times are not particularly reliable, but it is worth perservering to get in, especially if you cannot make it to Santa Ana. Entry is free unless you want to see a show.
