This bright, modern museum is a must-visit for all kids, big and small. To describe it as exhibiting Mexican toys (the 50-year collection of museum owner, Angélica Tijerina) is to do it a disservice. It is much more. It aims to preserve and continue the tradition of toys by showcasing different pieces from the many regions of Mexico. The pieces – divided into four main themed areas – are made from different materials, from wheat to plastic, wood to fabric.
Kids will love the interactive games on the computer. A lovely gift shop is attached.
