This intriguing pre-Hispanic pyramid complex and former ritual and ceremonial site is located around 25km southeast of San Miguel, dating from around 300 to 1050AD. Bones, believed to be from sacrificial ceremonies, and remnants were discovered here. The most interesting aspects include the alignment of the planets and the main temple and the design of the site (these reflect the surrounding landscape).
