Just off the highway between Xlapak and Labná, this fascinating new museum focuses on the history and use of cacao, a sacred drink of the Maya. Five thematically organized huts take on different aspects of cultivation and preparation as well as traditional Maya architecture, burial rites and clothing. The cafe/gift store here makes for a good lunch stop, too.
