The Nobbies are a couple of large, craggy, offshore rocks at the island’s southwestern tip. Beyond them are Seal Rocks, which are inhabited by Australia’s largest fur-seal colony. The Nobbies Centre offers great views over the Nobbies and the 6000 distant Australian fur seals that sun themselves there. You can view the seals from boardwalk binoculars or use the centre’s underwater cameras ($5). The centre also has some fascinating interactive exhibits, a kids games room and a cafe.
