The going concern in leafy Mylor is Warrawong Sanctuary , 3km from town – a feral-free private wildlife sanctuary with a cafe and accommodation. Take a self-guided walk, check out a wildlife show (adult/child/family $5/3/13, 11am and 2pm daily), or book a 1½-hour guided dusk walk (adult/child/family $25/16/65).
Accommodation is in en suite eco tents, each sleeping up to eight. Bed-and-breakfast costs adult/child/family $75/45/195; packages are also available including bed, show, walk, dinner and breakfast (adult/child/family $120/70/350). There’s a cafe here too, but the awful blaring R&B might send you packing.
