If you can wake ‘em from their gum-leaf coma, you can cuddle a koala (there are wombats and wallabies too) at the Koala Gardens . The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is Australia's largest butterfly aviary: you can see butterflies being bred in the lab on a half-hour tour.
