One of Tassie’s best microbreweries (the brewer here ain't short) throws open its gates every Friday and Sunday afternoon. These ‘Farm Bar’ sessions feature hand-pumped ales and ciders, with barbecues available (BYO snags). Hops and barley are sourced from Two Metre Tall’s own farm in the Derwent Valley. If you'd rather drink than drive, a return bus runs from Hobart ($15 per person, minimum 15 people). You'll find the brewery 12km northwest of New Norfolk, en route to Hamilton.
