In the small town of Railton, 12km northeast of Sheffield, brewer and beer connoisseur Willie Simpson has turned a passion for home brewing into one of Tasmania's best boutique breweries. Seven Sheds was opened in 2008 as a brewery, meadery and hop gardens, and you can pop in to taste its range of Kentish ale, melomel and a fabulous dry mead. You can also tour its microbrewing operation.
