Just south of the city, Nan Tien is the largest Buddhist temple in the southern hemisphere. The custodians encourage visitors to contemplate the 10,000 Buddhas and participate in meditations and cultural activities. Dress appropriately (no shorts, singlets or flip-flops) and remove your shoes before entering.
