Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo
To experience some of Australia’s most famous creatures up close and personal, the Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo is the ideal choice. Located just south of Childers along the Sunshine Coast, it makes for a fun and interesting day out.
The park is home to more than 45 species and subspecies of Australian reptiles, amphibians and marsupials. These include snakes, lizards, crocodiles, koala bears, kangaroos, and emus. It’s ideal for animal lovers, with knowledgeable staff on hand who are genuinely passionate about the animals and keen to educate visitors about them.
Entry into the Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo includes access to two snake shows, a crocodile show, reptile handling, a koala talk, plus entry into the kangaroo and emu reserve.
Practical Info
The Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo is located just off the Bruce Highway. Gates open at 9:30am and close at 3pm, with various shows, talks, and other events scheduled throughout the day. The park is closed on Wednesdays, plus Easter Friday, ANZAC Day, and Christmas Day. Entrance fee is $22 for adults and $14 for children.
