History buffs should consider the two small private ‘museums’ of WWII relics. The one closest to Agnes Lodge is run by Gordon Beti (no sign; ask for exact location); the second, and most interesting, is further east along the road, near the soccer field, a 20-minute walk from Agnes Lodge. Run by Alphy Barney Paulson, it features lots of utensils, ammunition, machine guns, shells, crockery, helmets, shavers and knives, all left behind by the Japanese and Americans.
