The small Museu Rondon has exhibits on indigenous culture and is well worth a visit to check out the ornate headdresses and weaponry. Located on the grounds of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), the museum is behind the swimming pool and was under extensive renovation when we visited.
