Forte Junqueira is a tiny hexagonal fort with 50cm-thick walls. The real highlight here is the excellent view of the Rio Paraguai and the Pantanal in the distance. To get here, go east along Dom Aquino and turn left at the athletics ground. Once you hit the waterfront, continue east for another 10 minutes. The entrance is an unmarked door to the left of the main gate.
