Located inside Estação Júlio Prestes, grand turn-of-the-century Beaux Arts–style working railway station (actually completed in the 1930s) is the Estação Pinacoteca, an annex of the Pinacoteca do Estado hosting Sampa's three best contemporary art halls and an excellent permanent collection of modernist Brazilian art.
