Numismatists may be interested in a visit to the money museum in the Banco Central do Brasil HQ. On show is cash from around the world, the world's largest gold nugget (56.6kg!), as well as a complete set of Brazilian currency (including a 1,000,000-Cruzeiro note). You’ll need to show your passport to get in.
