Though it was closed at the time of writing, it's worth checking to see if you can get into this museum that was built to celebrate the city's 250th birthday in 1989. An extraordinary collection of Mapuche silverwork is the star exhibit; masks and headdresses, textiles and ceramics are among the other pieces on display.
