A number of airlines are currently investing hundreds of millions of dollars in making air travel more luxurious and both Airbus and Boeing are producing aircraft to cater for this market. Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner is due to be reach the airlines in 2008 and will feature soothing lights, bigger windows and could even include showers and bunk beds. In response, Airbus has this week launched a $13.2 plan to build its competing A350 XWB wide-bodied jet. Watch this space for news of further developments.
