Such schemes motivate the people to plan their travel well in advance, thereby striking good deals on their air fares. It always takes one private operator to make the announcement, post which, lots of other operators join the competition. The private airline industry today is dominated by operators like SpiceJet, GoAir, Indigo, Jet Airways, Jet Konnect etc. All these operators have a great connectivity of flights among all the important cities of the country.
