Tam Coc landscape, an attractive site, was a green valley covered with limestone peaks. The massive outcrops were impressive, but can be a little unsatisfied when being bothered by the locals who tried to sell some drinks, objects, or anything. Our boat was rowed by a very thin woman who seems not to be enthusiastic in her work. Some children tried to access visitors and did a hard selling at the turn-round point and your rower will require some tips at the stop place. Leaving the Hanoi center, we went to a few of the traditional handicraft villages situated in the suburb area. A stop at a pottery and pottery village was a chance to join and create your own ceramics, and buy refined products of pottery at good prices. After spending a good night on the sumptuous junk on Ha Long bay, we left the boat on a smaller boat to head south for Cat Ba Island. Before going swimming on a quiet beach, trekking on the limestone mountain and climb up to the top of an observation tower to have panoramic views of the island. With diversified and beautiful landscapes, Hue possesses a unique and harmoniously beauty. Hue Citadel has a moat and ornate gates guarding a palace, temples, gardens and tombs. When visiting the site, cyclo was a nice way to discover the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, and Thai Hoa Palace... Thanh Toan Bridge was our next visit. On both sides of the bridge length are 2 rows of wooden flat forms and parapets for people to lean their backs. The bridge is roofed with tubes. We were lucky when coming there in the harvest season. We cached the sight of the farmers cutting rice and saw the endless yellow rice field. Another place was Bach Ma Mountain, 60 km to the south of Hue city. This is home to rare diversified animals with many limpid brooks and pictures waterfalls, a range of unique trails for those who interested in wildlife and trekking... We were interested in a park located in the lush vegetation and mountains that disappeared into the fog. A Hoi An with colorful lantern nights were great for leisurely evening strolls. It was also a great experience when biking to a peaceful village, walked around a vegetable garden and did gardening activities together with farmers. In Saigon, the central post office with the main entrance bedecked with intricate ironwork will certainly impress you. Another impressive site was Municipal Theatre, which holds classical concerts, operas, traditional Vietnamese dance and ballets. Opposite the central post office was Ben Thanh market, an interesting destination, sells everything from victuals, souvenirs, handcrafts to clothing, household stuff. Price was highly exaggerated, and you need to prepare for haggling, aggressively. Not remote from the center of My Tho, you should not miss Vinh Trang pagoda. It was a nice and well-maintained sanctuary as well as a prevalent home for orphans, disabled and other needy children. But the great moment of the day was the visit to snake farm nothing to feel scared... They are strictly impounded in the cages. There is also a restaurant here, so don't forget to purchase a bottle of snake wine. The tour of Vietnam travel was a very interesting mix of the whole thing: from outstanding culture, cuisine to very friendly people!
