In a bid to get more business class passengers, Southwest Airlines has raised its last minute fares and now calls them ‘Business Select’. For an extra $10 TO $20 you’ll get Group A priority boarding, a free on-board drink and extra Rapid Rewards credits, but you’ll still be in a one-class cabin with no assigned seating. These fares are expected to account for around 10% of passengers and, amazingly, add at least $100 million to the airline’s annual revenue.
