Battersea Power Station is currently under a thorough development that is actually building and branding the Battersea area as a whole.

With nearly 2.5 million square feet of commercial accommodation in development, stunning apartments overlooking the Thames being built and even a tube expansion under construction, Battersea is definitely the new place to be. Before 2020, the Battersea and Nine Elms areas are expecting to support of 18.000 new homes and over 24.000 new jobs. All these exciting changes will inevitably grow Battersea and it is now up to you to explore the treats of the area before the tourists take over.

Battersea Square

In the summertime, the sun hits the square all day. This is a perfect excuse to sip a glass of wine with all the locals that had the exact same idea. The river is literally just around the corner and you will instantly feel at peace if you enjoy the sunset from this quiet spot. Northcote Road

Located just of Clapham Junction station is the vibrant Northcote Road. Home of countless of restaurants, cafs, bars and speciality shops. The road is probably most known for its Northcote Road market that allows people to indulge in local delicacies and antiques and the market seems to be more of an event than just a market. Battersea Park

One of the biggest and most beautiful parks in London is found in Battersea. Unlike Hyde Park and Regent’s Park, this is a park you can enjoy in peace and without a lot of tourists making it feel like a stressful experience. The park features a small lake and outdoor sport facilities and it is also the ideal place to go and enjoy a picnic with friends.

Battersea Barge

A well-kept secret in London with a view! The Battersea Barge is available for private hire but is also great for a casual outing on the river. The floating wonder has charm and history and even though the food and drinks are amazing, you will mainly go here for the atmosphere. With its limited spaces, this is definitely a place to go before it becomes too well known to every individual that crosses paths with London.
