A seemingly growing trend in the cruise world is the residential cruise ship. And leading the way is The Magellan, at 860 feet long and weighing an incredible 72,000 tons. Facilities on-board include, resaurants, a spa, an indoor pool, an observatory, a greenhouse, a helicopter landing pad, a nightclub and a 450-seat live, satellite broadcast theatre. And, if that wasn’t enough, twelve new condos and a tennis court have now just been announced. Prices for private residences on the ship range from $1.875 million to $8 million for penthouses.
