A ’Taste’ festival is coming to Edinburgh this week; Taste of Edinburgh follows the success of similar events in London, Dublin and Birmingham, and will soon make its Scottish debut (7th-10th June 2007). In a bid to promote Edinburgh as the culinary capital of Scotland, the likes of Gordon Ramsay and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall have been invited by Channel 4 – who have a 50% stake in the festival – to attend. Expect live cooking demonstrations, questions and answer sesssions and a fun day out.
