Despite the name, this sandwich doesn’t come with Coke and fries. Rather than being of golden arches fame, the McDonald sandwich is named after Scott McDonald, a chef at the London department store Selfridges. And, at 85, it probably wouldn’t be considered as cheap fast food! In a bid to justify the price tag, the sandwich consists of wagyu beef, fresh lobe foie gras, black truffle mayonnaise, brie de meaux, rocket, red pepper and mustard confit and English plum tomatoes.
