Its 18-hole golf course was designed by architect David Mezzacane and professional golfer Baldovino Dass. The holes were shaped by Brian Jorgensen, and the result is a dramatic and technically challenging layout. Set in the Portuguese spa town of Trs-os-Montes , the star attraction of this royal palace is its 72-par 18-hole golf course, originally designed by Mackenzie-Ross. Built in 1936 in a picturesque valley setting, it was completely rebuilt according to USGA specifications for tees and greens.
The course at Vidago Palace now includes a golf academy, a 340m driving range, a chipping area and two putting greens. Electrical buggies, pull trolleys, electrical trolleys and golf clubs are available for rent at the club house.
Evian Resort, France
