Until recently many chalets used to put their pools hidden away in the basement or in a converted garage. Shemshak Lodge
The stunning pool in Shemshak Lodge completes a whole floor dedicated to wellness. It features floor to ceiling windows which are perfect for watching the skiers below on the piste as they ski down and affords a clear view looking across the valley. This pool is so long that it has pillars at either end giving it a Roman bath feel and is great for those who like to swim their lengths. With a hot tub at one end and sauna and hamam opposite, there is everything available for complete relaxation.
Chalet Himalaya
Chalet Himalaya located on the piste in Val d’Isere makes you believe that you are on a set of James Bond, it has a swimming pool which appears at the touch of a button. The marble floor leading from the inside of the chalet to the outside courtyard gently lowers, controlled by remote control. Magically the pool appears, with a swim jet at one end and jacuzzi jets at the other, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Also you are able to stop the floor which enables even the shortest child to paddle with confidence.
Chalet Montana
Chalet Montana sits high above Val d’Isere in a private enclave next to La Face piste. Its’ pool is located at ground level and gives stunning views over the resort. The pool changes colour at the touch of a button to allow you to set the mood. The raised platform in one corner with jacuzzi jets is perfect for relaxing while keeping an eye on the children in the pool.
Chalet Marco Polo
Chalet Marco Polo located in the center of Val d’Isere and whilst the whole chalet boasts extreme luxury, the pool area does nothing to temper this impression. Large with surrounding loungers this swimming pool is something spectacular. The backdrop either side of the feature window was designed by Christian Lacroix and features gold leaf tiles depicting the goddess Boudicca. There is also a drop down screen so you can watch the latest blockbuster moviewith perfect surround sound while relaxing in the pool.
