Prelude to A Night With Gidiflyguys Hangout
The Gidiflyguys are having a night out with their fans and loved ones. We had a sit down with one of the DJs on the team. World Famous, DJ Tona. (@DJTONA1). He was all smiles and shades of cool as he left his spinning turntable to have a chat with us. Enjoy!
Question 1: Let us meet you, where are you from? Where did you grow up? Ans: My name is TONADE EMMANUEL (World Famouz DJ TONA). I am from Ogun State Nigeria but I grew up in Kano State.
Question 2: When did your music interest start and what shaped it? Ans: Music for me started when I was a child. I had a 'good ear' for sound as my choir master put it.
Question 3: How are you a part of the team at Gidiflyguys? Ans: My boss DJ Toy introduced me to the team, I have been working & mentoring under him for years now. I am one of the in-house DJsGidiflyguys. Together we fly. (laughs). 
Question 4: Please tell us what the upcoming show is about? Ans: Ok. The show is the first of four of the Gidiflyguys Clubs Series where Gidiflyguy DJ Nature along with his friends are ready to put on a fanatic performance for all Gidiflyguys Lovers who are present on the day! It's a way for us to connect with our fans & loved ones through what we do and love to do.
Question 5: What do you intend to do for people by this show? Ans: We, Gidiflyguys, (points to team) intend to support and promote the under-ground DJs which rarely get the time in the spot light to showcase their talent to the Nigerian main-stream audience. 
Question 6: How can people connect with the vision of the show? Ans: Simple. (laughs). All they need to do is to come for the show and experience the sound from six different DJs meaning six different playlists. Trust me I can’t explain it with words but it will be mind blowing.
Question 7: What factors sharpen the DJ industry in Nigeria and how is Gidiflyguys positioned to react to them? Ans: Hmmm. The major factor that sharpens the Nigerian DJ Industry at the moment comes from the Nigerian DJ Association where they have created a safe haven for all DJs to belong since the DJs are not well represented but Gidiflyguys is here to help and promote up & coming and budding DJs by creating opportunities in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry. 
Question 8: What are your music inspirations? Ans: Good Tunes. Just good tunes. Remember I said I have a ear for good sound.
Question 9: What is your preferred equipment to play with? Ans: Aha!. A Pioneer CDJ-1000 or Pioneer CDJ 2000. I'm good to go for hours.
Question 10: Lastly, what is the vision like for the future for you as a DJ and Gidiflyguys as a team? Ans: My vision is to be famous as my name implies. I'm going to be World Famous DJ TONA. I also want to have a good legacy. Very important. The sky is our limit. Stay blessed.
