Spreading out from the central Cape Town region are a number of superb retreats, particularly in the likes of the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch wine regions. These quiet country towns afford close proximity to the country’s top wine estates, and many choose to spend a night or two away from the bustle of the city, relaxing with a few bottles of wine in the most convenient of locations for true grape lovers.
