In early 2014 Bali Musik Promosi presented the first ever Bali Live International Jazz Festival in cooperation with Java Festival Production.
It was a simple concept: to present a series of spectacular shows featuring some of the world’s best international acts, performing with Indonesian artists in the unique tropical setting of Bali. That turned out to be the most high profile Live Music event that the Island of Bali has ever seen!
Java Jazz Festival now draws the highest attendance of any Jazz Festival in the world. Over the last 10 years they have brought the world and his mate to Indonesia through this genre of music and have presented some of the biggest names in the business, as well as the best emerging local talent and legendary musicians of outstanding quality. With “a little help from our friends” to coin an old Abbey Road song, they are now able to bring some of those amazing artists to perform in Bali.
Last year saw an incredible line-up including Earth Wind & Fire Featuring Al McKay, Incognito, Omar and Tania Maria, plus performances from local heroes such as Rio Sidik, Balawan, Nita Aartsen and many other great Indonesian artists.
