The skies between Australia and Bali are getting crowded of late with multiple airlines plying the route carrying tourists eager to visit Bali. At one time, Perth International Airport had so many daily flights to Bali it was as if the airport was exclusively for the Perth-Bali route!
When Strategic Airlines initially flew out of Perth to Bali it was an outstanding success and now that the airline has flights out of most Australian cities, the airline has now decided to extend its services to Bali from Brisbane three times a week using the Brisbane-Townsville-Denpasar route. This service will commence on the 3rd December.
According to an article in the Bali Discovery, The new service will be flown on Airbus A320 aircraft with 12 business class and 144 economy seats. The Brisbane-Townsville-Bali flights will operate on Friday and Sunday. The Brisbane-Townsville service will depart Brisbane every Friday and Sunday at 9.50 am, arriving in Townsville at 12 mid-day. Flights will also depart Townsville Airport each Friday and Sunday afternoon at 1.30 pm and arrive in Denpasar at 4.45 pm. The return flights will depart Denpasar at 9.30 am every Saturday and Monday morning, and arrive back in Townsville at 4.15 pm. Flights will also depart Townsville every Saturday and Monday at 5.45 pm, and arrive in Brisbane at 7.40 pm.
With all these low-cost carriers plying the Oz-Bali route at present the deals available are incredibly cheap and now is a great time to visit Bali. The weather is fabulous, the people even more delightful and welcoming.
