Later on this afternoon Candika and I will fly out to Lombok for a few days. I really wanted to go by ferry to Lombok but I think Candika has had enough of the open ocean after the fishing sojourn a few weeks ago. I have already telephoned the resort and booked the beach-front bungalow for a week and I have a rough idea of what we shall see and do whilst on the island.
Naturally, I will be posting articles and photos from Lombok this week and I hope to find some unusual places. Also, I will write about some of the well known places for you all to check out on the sister island to Bali. It has been quite a few years since I was there last and I am interested in seeing what has changed.
It will be interesting to see how the tourism situation is over there and no doubt it will be more quiter than here in Bali. It will make a nice change from the hectic pace of Kuta.
