The Bali Arts Festival in Denpasar is in full swing. My friend, musician Richard Kaal was asked to perform with his Balinese gamelan / western fusion, but didn’t have time to practice for the event. Running until July 14th 2007, the event has an extensive schedule and features some unique Balinese dances.

No need to buy tickets in advance, simply show up at the Taman Budaya Cultural Center in Denpasar. There was no charge for entry a few days ago.
