Merpati airlines is closing its Darwin office and will be focusing on its domestic service. Here is a report from the Jakarta Post.
Merpati closes its office in Darwin, Australia
DARWIN (Antara): Merpati Nusantara Airlines, an Indonesian airline, has closed its office in Darwin, Australia to focus on serving domestic routes.
Husnul Mulia, Merpati’s manager for Darwin, however, quickly added that Merpati would still serve Darwin-Kupang route.
“Our Darwin’s office has been closed since May 15, but we continue to serve Kupang-Darwin route,” she said Tuesday.
Following the closure of its office, Merpati’s flight reservation in Darwin will be served by Air North of Australia.
Merpati serves many locations in Indonesia including Bali.
