The surfing season has already begun and the ISC, (Indonesian Surfing Championship) is charging ahead with events. Bali has a rich vein of local talent and many young surfers (grommets) get their chance at being noticed in these competitions.
Some of big surf manufacturers including Rusty, Quiksilver, Billabong and Rip Curl are putting on events in Bali at locations such as Sanur, Keramas and Bingin over the next 4 months. Here is the schedule of ISC events. If you are visiting Bali you might like to check out one of the ISC surfing contests down on the Bukit at Padang Padang or Bingin, when the surf is big.
