Ubud is often the first place that Kuta based tourists visit on a day trip. It offers a totally different scene which only gets better the longer you stay. The great thing about Ubud is that downtown is loaded with accommodation options to fit every budget. Jl. Hanoman and Jl. Kajeng, both downtown offer handy accommodation for people without transport. Jl. Penestenan slightly out of town is one of the many other options for a quieter stay.
