Australian Schapelle Corby is in the news again, not because of something she has done, but because of a slogan appearing at Australian Fashion Week.
Schapelle is serving a 20 year sentence in Bali’s Kerobokan jail for drug importation. When her case first surfaced she enjoyed massive support from the Australian public back home, although not here in Bali. Times have changed and a skeptical public is being treated to the slogan ‘Four Kilo Anti Hero‘ at Australian Fashion Week. Bali resident and Australian citizen Nicholas Morley is the designer behind the t-shirts and says he decided to speak out as Schapelle had given Australia and Bali a bad name.
If he really wanted to hammer home that message, he should hand them out at the jail. An Indonesian will never refuse a free t-shirt.
