Sunday midday Ika, Jevon and I rode down to Jl. Double Six and ate Sunday brunch at Seaside restaurant (past Zanzibar, Blue Ocean etc.). We had no idea they served Sunday brunch, but outside was a large board. Seaside is a modern looking place, enjoyed by expats and tourists, providing a shady place to sit and enjoy the view. Out in front is the beach, the crashing waves and anything else that wanders by.
Seaside also has a small modern gym located behind the restaurant. Jevon liked playing with the ‘yoga ball’ (or whatever its called, the big ball people use for exercise). There were no
customers in the gym so I let him play for a while. His ultimate favourite toy was the parking barrier outside. He hung onto it and I raised him up. Little bugger didn’t ant to leave, maybe
I’ll buy him a parking barrier for his next birthday.
The Sunday brunch is basically a choice of menu items, each one 25,000rp. These include:
Mushroom Breakfast – 2 poached eggs with field mushroom, cheese sauce & grilled tomatoes.

Ika and I chose the huevos rancheros, a Mexican style dish with eggs and re-fried beans. The food was good and Seaside was a pleasant to to go after my gardening efforts. We both got plenty to eat and you can’t complain about 25,000rp.
