This evening I was heading down to Warung Murah for my usual plate of Indonesian food when something inside of me said “I want salad.” Riding from Jl. Double Six through to Jl. Padma Utara, I spotted a new place called Barcelona.
Barcelona is a cool looking place on Jl. Werkudara. The colors say ‘welcome to Barcelona’, the menu says ‘welcome wherever you want’. Included in the menu are Spanish tapas, Spanish dishes, Italian food, pizza, Indonesian food and other choices.
My choice was a Green Salad with chicken and a Seafood Pizza. Together with a large Bintang the bill came to 68,000rp. The salad was great, the pizza very nicely made too. I am going back with Ika sometime, and I’ll take my camera. Barcelona is locate across the street from Captain Cook’s Bar. Barcelona can accommodate couples, 4-somes and groups with large warung style tables too. In all good food and a cool place. Staff told me it gets busier around 9pm.
