Stars Bar & Bistro on Jl. Danau Tamblingan in Sanur is a handy place to get online and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. I passed by today and checked out the menu. Generally I find the internet options in Sanur to be not as good as Kuta, when comparing speed vs. price. This new broadband connection could be the ticket.

•Starters – including Calamari (deep fried calamari served with Thai Sweet Chili Sauce) for 17,000rp
•Pasta – including Prawn Fettuccini (rich creamy sauce with juicy freshwater prawns, cherry tomatoes and fettuccini, including garlic bread) for 42,000rp
•Salads – including New Yorker (roast chicken, crispy bacon sweet corn mixed salad with Italian dressing) for 32,000rp
•Indonesian – including Seafood Fried Rice (special fried rice with prawns, fried egg, mussels, squid, and fish, complete with vegetables, cracker and pickle) for 42,000rp
•Grill – including Roast Chicken (half a tender roast chicken with French fries, vegetables and gravy) for 36,000rp
•Sandwiches – including Smoked Salmon (Norwegian smoked salmon and cream cheese served with salad on a bagel with French fries) for 32,000rp
On my visit I saw an offer for a bottle of Australian Shiraz / Chardonnay at 135,000rp, which is a deal. Broadband internet access is also offered, at 36,000rp / hour for the 256 Kbps speed connection.
