Kubu Bali Shop is located on the point of the corner of Jl. Legian and Jl. Patih Jelantik. This leather fashion and tailor, is run by Nyoman Kartha, who was present when I visited. Nyoman had many women’s and men’s leather jackets on hand, as well as purses and leather bags. I tried on a large leather jacket, which was good, although a bit tight in the shoulders. Choosing a jacket in Bali, you have to consider how much clothing you’ll be wearing back at home in winter, and is the jacket big enough. Nyoman told me that the shop is open daily from 9am-9pm. A ladies jacket goes for around 700,000rp, a men’s jacket for around 800,000rp, purses are 150,000rp and bags 450,000rp. He said the size of the item is a contributing factor to cost, so Arnold Schwarzenegger will have to pay more than me.
The jackets felt nice and soft and I’m sure you’ll spend less money here than at home. Goods can be made to order.
