As far as I can see, the internet connectivity in Bali is getting better. The Taiwan earth quake damaged fiber-optic cables that cross the Pacific, which affected internet access and cell phone use.
A Couple of days ago many internet cafes were not working. That’s not the case now and speed is the same as usual pretty much. Ika told me her Simpati cell phone provider was not working. My Pro Excel is working fine.
Here in Seminyak, JP’s Warung on Jl. Dhyana Pura now has free wi-fi!
